Sr. Rose Nancy Ghati, FSSA, is a member of the Women Faith Leaders Fellowship 2024-2025 cohort. She is a Franciscan Sister of St. Anna and a SCORE-ECD master trainer based in Lwak–Siaya County, Kenya. She is passionate about changing the lives of mothers, girls, and children in the community. She was a project coordinator for Changing The Way We Care for three years (2021-2023), where she advocated for better livelihood for families especially persons with disability. Changing the Way We Care is a global initiative to influence the way we care for children, away from orphanages and back to families. She graduated with a degree in psychology and gender studies from Kenyatta University in 2013 and then joined religious formation the same year. She is now pursuing her master’s degree in gender and development studies from the same university. Working with SCORE–ECD has earned her many opportunities, including giving a presentation during the Global Comparative and International Education Society conference in Miami.
